okay so i have TRIED sitting down and writing before and let me just say, i have NO IDEA how fanfic writers and just writers in general do it because whenever i try to write, i flop around and struggle like a doctor trying to stitch together a patient, but instead he accidentally creates a frankenstein of incomplete sentences and words and phrases that don’t really go well together and nothing quite fits and you can see the badly done stitches that forced everything together poking out of the edges
like honestly i don’t know how you guys do it. i don’t know how you all can string together words into beautiful metaphors and sentences and create imagery so flawlessly, and so easily draw me into a world where i don’t even have to think about anything, i can just read and comprehend and understand and unconsciously pretend that what i’m reading is real and happening, even if just for a little bit, and i’m never drawn away from that illusion until it’s over and jfc i don’t know how you guys do it
writers deserve so much respect man, y’all create scenes and characters and relationships and entire fucking worlds out of your words, and that’s just amazing
